Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Conduct forensic investigations and threat hunting across hybrid environments
- Develop security automation using Python and SIEM integration
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing engagements
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Present threat intelligence to executive stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering roles
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent advanced certification
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security architecture and tools
- Proficiency in Palo Alto, Fortinet, and CrowdStrike technologies
- Experience with Splunk, ELK Stack, or similar SIEM platforms
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and cloud security
- Ability to mentor junior security analysts
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
