Responsibilities
- Design and deploy enterprise-grade security infrastructure including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms
- Lead incident response operations, including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and containment strategies
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify risks
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives across the organization
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on network and cloud security
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence tools
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks, ISO 27001, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with AWS/Azure security services and container security
