Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using AI/ML analytics
- Lead incident response for zero-day attacks and APT campaigns
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for cloud/on-prem systems
- Develop security automation workflows using Python and Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
- Present security posture updates to executive leadership quarterly
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering/architecture roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or OSCP required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Experience with threat hunting frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, MITRE D3FEND)
- Strong programming skills (Python, Go, or Rust)
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
