Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security architectures including zero-trust frameworks and cloud security solutions
- Lead incident response operations for complex cyber threats using SIEM and EDR platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop security automation using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to security awareness programs
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with emerging threats and NIST/CIS compliance frameworks
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in enterprise-level security engineering
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and cloud-native architectures
- Proficiency in security automation tools (Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC security
- Strong background in threat hunting and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Excellent written communication skills for security documentation and reporting
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain
