Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security architectures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust networks
- Lead incident response for security breaches with hands-on investigation and remediation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for high-profile clients
- Develop security automation using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST)
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to security awareness programs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering with focus on cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence tools
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code experience
- Proven track record in designing secure cloud architectures
- Experience with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
