Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for complex security breaches and ransomware attacks
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid environments
- Develop Zero Trust architectures and network segmentation strategies
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS frameworks
- Mentor junior security analysts and improve team detection capabilities
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or OSCP (required)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Experience with EDR/XDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and attack vectors
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
