Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust frameworks
- Lead incident response for complex cyber threats using SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
- Mentor junior engineers through technical workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with enterprise environments
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC required (CISM or CCSP a plus)
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat intelligence
