Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust network security architectures across hybrid cloud environments
- Lead incident response protocols for sophisticated cyber attacks including ransomware and APTs
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments using industry-standard tools
- Develop automated security monitoring solutions using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Mentor junior engineers and establish security best practices across the organization
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and NYDFS cybersecurity regulations
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with 3+ years in engineering roles
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certifications required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and security automation frameworks
- Deep understanding of threat intelligence and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with incident response in enterprise environments
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for technical documentation
