Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events and alerts within the Security Operations Center (SOC) using SIEM tools like Splunk or FireEye.
- Conduct detailed investigations into security incidents, including root cause analysis and incident response.
- Implement and manage security patches, configurations, and firewalls to reduce the attack surface.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support to identify system weaknesses.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports for compliance and audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Certification: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ (Active certification required).
- Minimum of 4-7 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Extensive knowledge of NIST frameworks, MITRE ATT&CK, and incident response methodologies.
- Proficiency with network protocols, encryption standards, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex security findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-call or flexible hours during critical security events.
