Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events across the enterprise infrastructure using SIEM tools like Splunk or Sentinel.
- Conduct real-time threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to identify potential exploits before they occur.
- Respond to and remediate security incidents, including phishing attacks and malware outbreaks.
- Manage and review user access controls and privilege accounts to enforce the principle of least privilege.
- Collaborate with network engineering and development teams to harden systems and patch vulnerabilities.
- Create detailed incident reports and security documentation for stakeholders and auditors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Cybersecurity, SOC Analysis, or Information Security.
- Active certification such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, VPNs, and routing protocols.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python or PowerShell) for automation and log analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
