Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools like Splunk and FireEye.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate with cross-functional teams to mitigate breaches.
- Manage firewall configurations and network segmentation to enforce security policies.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and incident reports.
- Conduct security awareness training for staff to reduce human error risks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or SOC analysis.
- Active CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight).
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and security architectures.
- Experience with identity management systems (Okta, Active Directory).
- Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 SOC environment.
