Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events across the enterprise infrastructure to identify and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify security weaknesses.
- Manage and maintain security information and event management (SIEM) tools, ensuring accurate correlation and reporting.
- Lead incident response investigations, including forensic analysis and root cause determination.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement secure network architectures.
- Conduct security awareness training and workshops for staff to foster a culture of security.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certification: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ certification is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or information security engineering.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel), firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Networking: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be available for on-call rotation and emergency response.
