Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Response: Monitor security systems 24/7 to detect, analyze, and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
- Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts, conducting root cause analysis and implementing remediation strategies.
- Security Assessments: Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to ensure compliance.
- Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce information security policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
- Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to regulatory standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network defense.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar), Firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
