Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk and FireEye.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and configure robust network security controls, including firewalls and IPS.
- Investigate security breaches, perform root cause analysis, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and external standards (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Develop and maintain detailed incident response plans and security documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network defense.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with security tools (e.g., Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, Snort, Check Point).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocols, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work effectively under high-pressure situations.
