Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk or QRadar.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and enforce robust information security policies and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA).
- Lead forensic investigations into security breaches and produce detailed incident reports.
- Manage access controls and privilege accounts to ensure the principle of least privilege is maintained.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
