In this role, you will be the first line of defense against cyber-attacks, analyzing vast amounts of data to identify vulnerabilities before they are exploited.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools like Splunk.
- Conduct 24/7 threat hunting to proactively identify malicious actors within the network.
- Perform detailed forensic analysis of compromised systems and prepare incident reports.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Collaborate with the IT team to patch vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in SOC analysis, threat hunting, or incident response.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking, Windows/Linux administration, and Active Directory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder updates.
