Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools.
- Conduct advanced threat hunting to identify vulnerabilities before they are exploited.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure robust defense.
- Manage and maintain firewall policies, network segmentation, and endpoint security.
- Lead post-incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement security best practices.
Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) and EDR solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
