Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively secure network infrastructure.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, coordinating with legal and executive teams to minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Perform regular security audits and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar advanced certification.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation and log analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
