Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events (SIEM) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, including malware infections and data breaches.
- Implement and manage security controls, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA) and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and threat intelligence summaries for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS) and compliance standards.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
