Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to identify potential breaches.
- Conduct 24/7 threat hunting and vulnerability assessments during off-peak hours.
- Perform forensic analysis on compromised systems and coordinate incident response activities.
- Regularly update and patch security infrastructure to mitigate known vulnerabilities.
- Document security incidents, create detailed reports, and communicate findings to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and compliance measures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or network security.
- Active CISSP, Security+, GSEC, or CEH certification is highly preferred.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting.
