In this pivotal role, you will be the guardian of our 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC). You will utilize cutting-edge tools to detect, analyze, and neutralize sophisticated cyber threats in real-time. Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events from SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint detection systems (EDR) during off-hours.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to prevent breaches before they occur.
- Lead the triage, containment, and eradication of active security incidents, including ransomware and phishing attacks.
- Collaborate seamlessly with day-shift analysts and IT teams to ensure seamless escalation and resolution of complex issues.
- Document findings, create playbooks for recurring threats, and maintain accurate incident logs for compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a SOC, Security Operations, or Network Security role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common attack vectors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
