Responsibilities
- Lead incident response for complex security breaches across financial services clients
- Design and implement advanced threat detection using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on critical infrastructure
- Develop zero-trust architecture frameworks for cloud environments
- Collaborate with legal teams on GDPR/CCPA compliance initiatives
- Mentor junior analysts through hands-on workshops and certifications
- Present quarterly threat intelligence briefings to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in financial services sector
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Advanced knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat hunting
- Experience managing SOC operations with SIEM automation
- Strong Python/PowerShell scripting for security automation
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
