You will be responsible for designing robust security architectures, conducting deep-dive investigations, and ensuring our compliance with rigorous industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Response: Monitor security alerts via SIEM (Splunk, QRadar) and respond to incidents with minimal downtime and maximum efficacy.
- Network Defense: Configure, maintain, and optimize firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs to safeguard network perimeters.
- Vulnerability Management: Lead annual penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate security weaknesses proactively.
- Incident Management: Serve as the lead investigator for security breaches, performing forensic analysis and coordinating recovery efforts.
- Compliance & Policy: Ensure strict adherence to NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA frameworks through regular audits and policy updates.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security engineering.
- Certifications: Active CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GSEC certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting for automation; deep knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI models.
- Tools: Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, EDR solutions, and security tools like Nessus or Metasploit.
