Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Lead incident response activities for security breaches and malware incidents.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden infrastructure.
- Generate detailed security reports and present findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with Python or Bash scripting for security automation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
