Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents via SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and conduct forensic analysis.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises.
- Enforce compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA) and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Manage endpoint protection strategies and respond to malware and ransomware threats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network operations.
- Valid certification such as CISSP, CEH, GCIH, or Security+.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix).
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and SIEM solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
