Position Highlights
This critical role requires hands-on incident response experience and deep knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks. You'll work directly with CISOs to develop enterprise security strategies while leading incident investigations. Responsibilities
- Lead incident response operations for security breaches including forensic analysis and containment procedures
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to detect advanced threats
- Develop and implement security controls aligned with NIST CSF and ISO 27001 standards
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid cloud environments
- Collaborate with network engineering teams to harden infrastructure against emerging threats
- Generate executive-level security reports and present findings to C-suite stakeholders
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to security policy development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations background
- Active CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification (required within 90 days of hire)
- Expertise in threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
- Valid US government security clearance or ability to obtain one
