Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across the enterprise using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to contain and remediate security breaches.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC (DevSecOps).
- Provide expert-level consultation to stakeholders on risk mitigation and security awareness training.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or SOC analysis.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or GIAC GCIH is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network security protocols, encryption standards, and threat vectors.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or Bash.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
