Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Response: Monitor security alerts, analyze suspicious activities, and lead the response to cyber incidents using SIEM tools like Splunk or Sentinel.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and remediation planning to fortify our network defenses.
- Security Architecture: Design and implement security controls, firewalls, and access management policies aligned with NIST and ISO standards.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and other regulatory frameworks required for our industry.
- Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs to educate employees on best practices and phishing awareness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight) and endpoint protection solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols.
- Tools: Experience with scripting (Python or PowerShell) for automation and threat hunting.
- Location: Must reside within the Fort Worth, TX metropolitan area.
