Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within our SIEM environment (Splunk, QRadar) in real-time.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our network infrastructure.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and frameworks aligned with NIST and ISO standards.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders during a breach.
- Perform security audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and on-premise systems.
- Provide security awareness training to employees to foster a culture of security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, SSCP, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or threat intelligence.
- Proven experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud security principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in high-stakes situations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting to executive leadership.
