Role Overview
You will be responsible for ensuring the security of our organization's digital assets. This role requires a proactive approach to threat detection, incident response, and risk management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain a secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO, and HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure network architecture.
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and operating systems.
- Experience with incident response and disaster recovery procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
