Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts in real-time using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents, including malware analysis and phishing attempts.
- Enforce strict security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure network architecture.
- Document all security incidents and maintain comprehensive logs for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in SOC operations, threat intelligence, or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, 24/7 operational environment.
