We are looking for a vigilant professional who can proactively identify threats and respond to incidents with speed and precision.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect potential threats in real-time.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches, vulnerabilities, and malicious activity within the network environment.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to ensure compliance.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks to minimize downtime during security events.
- Collaborate with IT and software development teams to implement secure coding practices and secure architectures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and common attack vectors.
- Experience with Python or Bash scripting for automation and security tasks.
- Familiarity with NIST frameworks, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
