Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts during security breaches or cyber attacks.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability scans across the network perimeter.
- Design and implement robust firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations such as NIST, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with development teams to secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
- Perform regular penetration testing and security awareness training for staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Valid certification such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Proficiency in analyzing logs, packet captures (Wireshark), and threat intelligence feeds.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting findings to stakeholders.
