Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within our SIEM environment.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Perform forensic analysis on security breaches to determine root causes and impact.
- Manage and tune security tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Proficiency with security tools like Splunk, SIEM, Wireshark, and Nmap.
- Strong understanding of threat intelligence and malware analysis.
