Responsibilities
- Monitor and Analyze: Continuously monitor security alerts and SIEM data to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches, ensuring minimal impact to business operations.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our infrastructure.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA, preparing for audits and maintaining documentation.
- Security Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on security best practices and phishing awareness.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response and threat hunting.
- Certifications: Active CISSP, CEH, or GCIH certification is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools such as Splunk, FireEye, CrowdStrike, or similar SIEM/EDR solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
