Responsibilities
- Monitor and Analyze: Continuously monitor security alerts and SIEM systems to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all security controls align with industry standards such as NIST, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Policy Enforcement: Develop and enforce robust security policies and procedures across the organization.
- Threat Intelligence: Analyze global threat intelligence reports to proactively adjust our defensive posture.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications: Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related IT role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and network security appliances.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
