Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, or ELK Stack).
- Conduct thorough incident investigations and root cause analysis to mitigate active threats.
- Manage vulnerability assessments and penetration testing processes to identify weaknesses in our network.
- Enforce strict security policies and access controls to prevent unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement secure coding practices and infrastructure hardening.
- Prepare and present detailed security reports to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a SOC or Security Analyst role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and network security concepts.
- Experience with tools like Splunk, Snort, Nessus, or Wireshark.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
