Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel) to identify and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our network infrastructure.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IPS/IDS systems, and VPNs to enforce strict security policies.
- Lead incident response investigations, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid remediation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including security policies and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and log analysis.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and common network protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
