Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure system integrity.
- Respond to and remediate security incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery procedures.
- Enforce and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
- Perform daily log reviews and security audits to maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat analysis and incident response.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly required.
- Strong working knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation and log analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex security findings to non-technical stakeholders.
