Apex Defense Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite threat intelligence team. Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams to contain and remediate security breaches.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Perform regular security audits and provide recommendations for remediation and improvement.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement DevSecOps best practices.
Qualifications
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ (Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or network security.
- Strong proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and log analysis tools.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
