Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, ensuring minimal business impact.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (SOC2, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and firewalls.
- Provide security awareness training to staff and conduct regular security audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, Firewall).
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, IBM QRadar) and EDR solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
