Responsibilities
- Design and execute advanced threat detection strategies using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response operations for security breaches and cyber-attacks
- Conduct comprehensive penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security in DevOps pipelines
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous security improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network protocols
- Strong Python/SQL skills for security automation
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence feeds
- Proven ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical/non-technical audiences
