Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms like Splunk and QRadar
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches, ensuring rapid containment and recovery
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop and maintain security documentation including risk assessments and compliance reports
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security practices into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training for enterprise staff
- Monitor emerging threats and recommend proactive security enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat intelligence
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required)
- Expert knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize security incidents
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
