Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security monitoring solutions using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations for complex cyber threats and breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Generate executive-level security risk reports and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (e.g., GCFA, GCIH)
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and forensics
- Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and NYDFS 23 NYCRR 500
- Proficiency in network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and endpoint protection
- Experience with security automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to thrive under pressure
