Responsibilities
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations to neutralize cyber threats before they impact business operations.
- Manage and optimize SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to monitor network traffic and detect anomalies in real-time.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to ensure compliance.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce robust security policies, standards, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Collaborate closely with software engineering and DevOps teams to integrate security into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Investigate security breaches, document findings, and provide actionable remediation strategies.
- Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies to recommend proactive defense measures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related technical field.
- Certification is strongly preferred: CISSP, CEH, GCIH, or CompTIA Security+.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or Bash for security tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical data to executive stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a significant advantage.
