Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms to detect and respond to cyber incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security policies aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches and cyber-attacks
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security controls into cloud environments
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, or CEH) required
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and log analysis
- Proficiency with security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, AWS/Azure security services
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and attack vectors
- Experience with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
