Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security solutions including SIEM, EDR, and network segmentation
- Conduct incident response, forensics, and root cause analysis for security breaches
- Develop and maintain security documentation including policies, playbooks, and risk assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into DevOps pipelines
- Monitor security alerts, analyze threat intelligence, and recommend proactive measures
- Lead vulnerability management programs including patch prioritization and remediation
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on experience in threat detection and response
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent)
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar), EDR tools, and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks, ISO 27001, and compliance requirements
- Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and security automation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure during incidents
