Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and real-time security monitoring to identify potential breaches.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, cyber attacks, and data exfiltration events.
- Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to strengthen system defenses.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce robust security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze security logs and telemetry data to generate actionable intelligence and reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GSEC, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption standards.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and analysis.
