Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for cybersecurity breaches and coordinate forensic investigations
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA
- Create executive-level security dashboards and threat intelligence reports
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize security workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC/IR roles
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required (GCIH preferred)
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS) and endpoint protection
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Experience with threat hunting and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
