Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor advanced security protocols to protect enterprise infrastructure
- Lead incident response investigations for complex security breaches and cyberattacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop comprehensive security documentation including risk assessments and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous security improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with focus on threat detection and incident response
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or GIAC Security Expert preferred
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of network protocols, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure), and zero-trust models
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks and malware analysis tools
- Proven ability to create detailed security reports and executive presentations
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
